　　他们即将站上的，是一个与全球同龄人同场竞技的舞台——视野的宽度、思考的深度、心智的弹性，将最终决定他们能走多远。

　　Moving from the domestic education system onto the international track is far more than just passing through a school gate. The stage they are about to step onto is one where they will compete alongside their peers from around the world—and it is their breadth of vision, depth of thought, and mental resilience that will ultimately determine how far they can go.

　　弘益国际高中EAP国际课程之旅，正是为此而生。孩子将走进实验室亲手验证真理;站上讲台表达独立思考;走入山野，在汗水与团队的彼此支撑中学会信任;让身体与意志同步跟上认知的成长，在学术探索与自然体验中找寻属于自己的“成长之光”。

　　The EAP International Course Journey at HYCIS is designed precisely for this purpose. Students will step into laboratories to verify truth through hands-on experimentation; take the stage to express their independent thinking; venture into the wilderness, where they learn to trust through shared effort and teamwork amidst sweat and mutual support; and let their physical and mental resilience keep pace with their intellectual growth, as they seek their own "light of growth" through academic exploration and encounters with nature.

　　返校当天的预备营介绍暨开营仪式，让新同学们的目光第一次被牢牢抓住。因为这里的一切，都和过去不同。

　　The preparatory camp introduction and opening ceremony on the first day of return immediately captured the new students' attention, for everything here was unlike what they had previously known.

　　来自剑桥国际考评部(CAIE)授权的国际课程体系与全英文原版教科书，来自中央圣马丁、爱丁堡大学、约翰霍普金斯大学等世界知名学府的师资团队，来自湖南广益实验中学极富经验的学生管理团队，以及精心设计的“学术提升”与“自然探索”双线并行的新生营活动——当这些信息在班主任Lisa与Vivi老师的介绍中逐一铺开，台下孩子们的眼神里，好奇与期待交织成光。

　　The CAIE-authorized international curriculum with full English textbooks, a faculty team from world-renowned universities including Central Saint Martins, the University of Edinburgh, and Johns Hopkins University, a highly experienced student management team from Hunan Guangyi Experimental Middle School, and the carefully designed orientation camp featuring dual tracks of academic enhancement and nature exploration—as all this was presented one by one by homeroom teachers Lisa and Vivi, the eyes of the students below shone with a mixture of curiosity and anticipation.

　　国际课程的魅力，不在于知识点的堆叠，而在于思维方式的跃迁。新生营的学术模块，正是这场跃迁的第一级阶梯。

　　The appeal of the international curriculum lies not in the accumulation of knowledge, but in the transformation of thinking. The academic modules of the orientation camp are the first step toward this transformation.

　　全英文课堂的授课方式，起初让一些孩子略感局促。但在老师们的循循善诱下，孩子们逐渐习惯用英语提问、推演、表达——语言不再是屏障，而是思维的新翼。

　　The all-English classroom instruction initially made some students feel slightly uncomfortable. However, under the teachers' patient guidance, they gradually became accustomed to asking questions, reasoning, and expressing themselves in English—language ceased to be a barrier and became new wings for their thinking.

　　在国际课程的高一阶段(IGCSE)，对该学科是否感兴趣是选课的最重要依据之一，所以在新生营的学术之旅中，孩子们将体验更为多样的课程体系，通过引导性学习，挖掘内心深处真正兴趣与力量所在。

　　At the IGCSE stage, interest in a subject is one of the key criteria for course selection. Therefore, during the academic journey of the orientation camp, students will experience a broader range of subjects and, through guided learning, discover their true interests and strengths.

　　在弘益国际，孩子们不会被塑造成统一的样子，而是为他们提供多元的土壤与充足的养分，让每一种潜能都能找到生长的路径，在属于自己的天地里，自由而丰盈地成长。

　　野外拓展 · 淬火成钢

　　除了随老师们挖掘国际课程的全新学习模式，孩子们还走出水泥森林，在茂林间锻造刚强品格。在4A级景区的湖光山色间，自然以最朴素的方式，让孩子们与自我、与团队真实相处。

　　Beyond exploring new learning models of the international curriculum with their teachers, students also step out of the concrete jungle to forge strong character in the woodlands. Amidst the lakes and mountains of a 4A-rated scenic area, nature, in its simplest way, allows them to truly connect with themselves and their team.

　　队列训练、绳索攀爬、团队对抗，汗水浸透衣衫，手掌磨出茧痕。规则教会他们克制与坚守，竞技点燃对胜利的渴望，而一次次失败后的复盘与再来，让“团队”从陌生词汇变成值得托付后背的默契。

　　Through drill exercises, rope climbing, and team competitions, their clothes were soaked in sweat and their palms calloused. Rules taught them discipline and perseverance, while competition ignited their desire for victory. Repeated reviews and retries after each failure transformed "team" from an unfamiliar term into a bond of trust where they could rely on one another without hesitation.
