　　9月3日，迎着初秋澄澈的晨光，弘益国际高中2026秋季学期开学典礼在逐梦的号角中盛大开启。

　　弘益国际高中校长黎莉老师、教学总监陈珊珊老师、语言组负责人熊宜趣老师、留学指导中心主任贺艳老师、创新发展中心负责人首芊芊老师、学生处负责人李婷老师、招生办负责人诸宇萌、曹胜老师，校办负责人郭甜老师及弘益国际高中全体师生出席了本次典礼。

　　On September 3, under the clear morning light of early autumn, the Autumn Opening Ceremony of Hongyi International High School was grandly launched with a rallying call to chase dreams. The event was graced by the presence of Principal Ms. Li Li, Academic Director Ms. Chen Shanshan, Head of Languages Ms. Xiong Yiqu, Director of College Counseling Ms. He Yan, Head of Innovation and Development Ms. Shou Qianqian, Head of Student Affairs Ms. Li Ting, Admissions Directors Ms. Zhu Yumeng and Mr. Cao Sheng, Head of the School Office Ms. Guo Tian, as well as the entire faculty and student body.

　　在HYCIS的开学典礼上，每一个学期主题的诞生，都承载着对成长路径的深思与对教育本质的追问。

　　本学期主题 「以思为算力，向未知跃迁」 ，将学习重新定义为一场主动的“认知革命”。在国际高中的多元场域里，思考不是静态的知识储备，而是流动的、可迭代的“算力”——它驱动着每一次认知边界的突破。

　　At the opening ceremony of HYCIS, the inception of each semester's theme is grounded in a profound reflection on the trajectory of growth and an ongoing inquiry into the very essence of education. This semester's theme — "Cognition as Computation, Leaping into the Unknown" — redefines learning as an active act of "cognitive revolution." Within the diverse and pluralistic environment of an international high school, thinking is not static knowledge acquisition, but rather a fluid, iterative form of "computational power" — one that drives the breaking of cognitive boundaries at every turn.

　　不同文明的对话、不同学科的交叉、不同视角的交锋，都是思考的燃料。当孩子们手握这份“算力”，每一次发问都是对未知的勘探，每一次解题都是对自我的重构——最终，他们将以思为刃，在未知的旷野中，抵达更辽阔的自己。

　　Dialogue across civilizations, intersection across disciplines, and confrontation across perspectives — all serve as the fuel for thought. As our students wield this "computational power," every question they raise becomes an expedition into the unknown, and every problem they solve becomes a reconstruction of the self. Ultimately, with thought as their blade, they will journey across the uncharted wilderness and arrive at a vaster version of themselves.

　　Lily老师代表学校向全体师生致以新学期的问候。在主题演讲中，她以“韧性”与“共情”为题，勉励每一位学子在国际赛道的路上不懈前进。

　　从菲尔兹奖得主的成长轨迹，到电影《八仙》对“渡海”的诠释——她娓娓道来：决定人生上限的从不是天赋，而是日复一日的坚持与专注;真正的远行，从不是一个人的功勋，而是各有短长的人，在彼此的缺口中走成了同一条路。

　　On behalf of the school, Ms. Lily extended her new‑semester greetings to all faculty and students. In her keynote address, she took “resilience” and “empathy” as her guiding themes, encouraging every student to press forward with unwavering resolve on their international journey. From the growth trajectory of a Fields Medal laureate to the cinematic interpretation of “crossing the sea” in the film Eight Immortals — she wove these narratives together with a gentle eloquence: what ultimately defines the upper limits of one’s life is never innate talent, but the perseverance and focus practised day after day; and true voyages are never the laurels of a solitary individual, but rather the path that people of varied strengths and weaknesses, through each other’s gaps and shortcomings, come to walk together as one.

　　作为融汇中西、知行合一的国际高中，弘益国际始终关注全人教育，培养孩子们乐观自信、勤学善思、务实上进的品格。

　　新学期已至，远方有大学，途中有挑战——但身后有光，身边有人。Lily老师以最真诚的期待寄语全体学子：以思为算力，向未知跃迁，Keep Running!

　　As an international high school that bridges Eastern and Western cultures and unites knowledge with action, HYCIS has always been committed to holistic education — nurturing in our students the qualities of optimism, self‑confidence, diligence, critical thinking, pragmatism, and a progressive spirit. A new semester has arrived. Beyond the horizon lie universities; along the way lie challenges — yet behind them shines a guiding light, and beside them stand fellow companions. With her most sincere expectations, Ms. Lily addressed the entire student body: Let cognition be your computation, and leap into the unknown — Keep Running!

　　在开学典礼上，陈昀希同学与贺楚敦同学作为毕业生代表，分享了他们在弘益国际的真实成长历程。

　　初入国际赛道时的紧张与焦虑，如今回望依然清晰如昨。但正是在这片对学术探索满怀支持、对个性差异抱持尊重、对多元文化充满善意的校园里，他们最终都找到了属于自己的方向。

　　老师的耐心托举、同伴的并肩前行，帮助彼此一步步跨过了陡坡。毕业在即，忐忑之外更有笃定——这段旅程教会他们的，远不止成绩与offer，更是敢于发声的底气，和直面未知的从容。

　　新生代表潘丘心妍同学则讲述了自己从初入校园的拘谨到逐渐融入的蜕变。EAP课堂上的勇敢开口、研学活动中与同伴的彼此扶持，让她一步步卸下拘谨，把陌生走成了归属。她说，弘益国际教会她的，是带着热爱与初心，踏实向理想奔赴。

　　New student representative Sara Pan recounted her personal transformation from the initial awkwardness of stepping onto campus to gradually becoming fully immersed in school life. Speaking up bravely in EAP classes and supporting one another during field study activities helped her, step by step, shed her reserve and turn unfamiliarity into a sense of belonging. She said that what HYCIS has taught her is to pursue her ideals with passion, stay true to her original aspirations, and keep her feet firmly on the ground every step of the way.

　　荣誉并非偶然，而是日复一日的沉淀。在刚刚过去的学期中，一批在学业与综合素养上表现优异的同学站上了领奖台。他们是榜样，也是同行的伙伴。愿这份嘉奖成为继续奋进的动力，也愿新学期的舞台上有更多光芒被看见。

　　Honor does not come by chance; it is the accumulated fruit of day‑to‑day dedication. Over the past semester, a cohort of students who excelled in both academic performance and comprehensive personal development took their place on the awards podium. They are role models, and they are also fellow companions on this shared journey. May this recognition serve as a driving force for continued progress, and may the stage of the new semester see even more brilliance brought to light.

　　典礼行至高潮，新生代表合唱团以中英文双语合唱点燃全场——歌声自东方的底蕴中起落，亦向世界的辽阔处铺展。两种语言在此刻交汇成同一种力量，如同弘益国际校园里多元文化共生共长的日常缩影：传统与现代彼此映照，东方与西方互为回响。

　　The ceremony reached its climax when the freshman representative choir ignited the hall with a bilingual chorus sung in both Chinese and English. Their voices rose and fell from the depths of Eastern heritage, while simultaneously unfurling across the vastness of the wider world. At that moment, the two languages converged into a single, unified force—a living snapshot of the everyday multicultural coexistence that thrives on the HYCIS campus, where tradition and modernity reflect each other, and East and West echo in mutual resonance.

　　旋律之下，是少年们对新学期的热望，更是中西融汇、知行合一的生动注解。歌声渐落，各年级依次喊出专属口号，声浪此起彼伏，响彻礼堂——那一刻，青春的宣言掷地有声，新学期的脚步正式启程。

　　Beneath the melody lay the young students' ardent aspirations for the new semester, and more profoundly, a vivid illustration of the integration of Eastern and Western cultures and the unity of knowledge and action. As the singing gradually faded, each grade in turn shouted out their own distinctive slogans, waves of voices rising and falling and echoing through the auditorium—at that moment, the declaration of youth rang out with resounding force, and the journey of the new semester officially commenced.
